Dirk W. Widdowson

Attorney at Law

Attorney Dirk Widdowson was born in Salisbury, Maryland, and attended James M. Bennett Senior High School. He attended the University of Richmond and majored in Psychology and graduated Cum Laude with Honors in 1976. He attended T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1979. He has been practicing law in Salisbury since 1979. Dirk lived in Salisbury for over 20 years before moving to Ocean City in 2000, where he continues to live with his wife, Gayle.

Cara C. Magee

Administrative Legal Assistant

Cara was born and raised in New Jersey but relocated to to Salisbury in 2024. She attended Rowan University where she studied Criminal Justice.

Susanne W. Gregory

Legal Assistant

Susanne was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended Tidewater Community College where her areas of study were stenography, paralegal, and secretarial. In 1987 she moved to Salisbury, Maryland, where she began working in law offices with an emphasis in the area of corporate, real estate, and probate law. In 2005 she became the office manager, bookkeeper, and legal secretary for Hugh Kristian Hanson, LLC. She was hired by Widdowson and Dashiell, P.A., in 2019.

Sally Abbott

Title Review and Loan Preparation

Sally was born in Allentown, PA but her parents moved to Salisbury when she was two so she is basically a homegrown. She is semi-retired now, and came to work for Widdowson and Dashiell in 2021 working three days a week doing the title review and loan preparation for the same lender that she was doing at her previous job. She loves reading, shopping, fishing and just being on the water. She is married, has one daughter, a stepdaughter and stepson, two grandchildren and two very mischievous kitties. She and her husband, Robert, live in Salisbury.
